54 days of lockdown in Nepal, corona spread in 26 districts, 276 infected, highest 91 in Parsa

Kathmandu: The coronavirus that has spread like an epidemic all over the world is also intensifying in Nepal. As of Friday, 276 people had been infected.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the corona virus has so far spread to 26 out of 77 districts in Nepal. Ministry spokesperson Dr. 36 of the infected returned home after recovering. Vikas Devkota has given information.

According to the ministry, the most infected so far have been found in Parsa. It has been 54 days since the government announced a nationwide crackdown to prevent the spread of the virus. In the meantime, a total of 87,000 samples have been tested.

The details for Friday night are as follows:

Parsa: 91

Kapilvastu: 41

Banke: 33 people

Rupandehi: 28

Udaipur: 33 people

Kathmandu: 9 people

Dhanusha, Kailali: 4

Chivan, Rautahat, Bara, Dang: 3

Sarlahi, Bardia, Baglung, Jhapa, Mahottari, Bhaktapur: 2/2

Dhading, Bhojpur, Kanchanpur, Nawalparasi 9 West, Saptari, East Nawalparasi, Makwanpur, Siraha: 1/1

As of Friday, 23,914 samples have been tested by PCR and 63,085 by RDT.

A total of 267 people are being treated in isolation in different hospitals across the country. So far, Karnali has been free of corona. There are 15,683 people in quarantine across the country.
