५७४ पाठक संख्या Kathmandu: Foreign Minister Pradip Gyawali, Finance Minister Dr Yuvraj Khatiwada and Standing Committee Member Bhim Bahadur Rawal have also participated in the meeting of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) convened on Saturday morning.
An emergency meeting of the secretariat was convened after Chairman Prachanda expressed his displeasure with another chairman KP Sharma Oli after the issue of MCC was included in the budget for the fiscal year 2077-078 BS. According to Prime Minister’s Press Adviser Surya Thapa, the meeting focused on the report submitted by the MCC Study Task Force and the decision to be taken. A task force was formed to study the MCC after strong protests within the CPN (Maoist) at the last Central Committee meeting.
The task force had suggested to correct 11 points related to MCC.
