७७३ पाठक संख्या Kathmandu: The government has provided special discount to the customers who consume minimum electricity. Up to 10 units of electricity will not be charged. Similarly, those consuming 150 units will get 25 percent discount.
Those consuming up to 250 units will be given 15 percent tariff exemption. The government has made arrangements to waive the electricity fee and concession in electricity tariff to be paid by the Drinking Water and Irrigation Consumers Committee.
Presenting the budget for the fiscal year 2077 BS on Thursday, Finance Minister Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada said that it would not cost money to connect electricity to the poor.
