Parsa: The second report of PCR test of four corona infected people undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital in Birgunj has come back negative. The report of three Indians and a young man from Rautahat, who were staying at the Makki Jame Masjid in Chhapkaiya, came negative both last Wednesday and Friday. Dr. Uday Narayan Singh said.
The third report was sent for testing but the report was negative but the official letter was not available to the hospital. Singh said. For the third time, swab samples of four infected people were collected for PCR test and sent to the provincial laboratory in Hetauda three days ago. The laboratory has informed the hospital that the report was negative on Friday.
The hospital said that the last report of the four was negative but a sample of throat swab was collected for the last time on Friday and sent for testing. Preparations are underway to discharge four infected people based on the results of this report. Five infected people are undergoing treatment at Narayani Hospital. After the third report of four people came negative, one person from Sarlahi has been treated separately.
Dr Singh of the hospital said he was awaiting the final report for discharge and would probably be discharged on Sunday or Monday. “The condition of the infected person is normal. The third PCR test was negative,” Singh said.
