Birgunj: Parsa police have arrested the operator of a sawmill with illegal wooden bullets in a raid today. Police team from District Police Office, Parsa raided Jagdish Sub Mill at Adarshnagar, Birgunj on the basis of confidential information and arrested Hiraman Thakur, the operator of the mill.
During the raid at Jagadis Sub Mill behind Adarsh Nagar Thakur Ram College in Birgunj Metropolitan City Ward No. 10, 126 pieces of illegal satsal bullets and sawn timber of different sizes were recovered.
According to the news, Thakur has been kept at the District Police Office, Parsa for necessary action. According to the District Police Office, Parsa, an investigation is underway into where the recovered timber was brought from and how it was brought here.
