Jung Bahadur Sah, former president of the Nepal Fishermen’s Association, Bara, said that he was happy that Lakdaun had freed the farmers from middlemen and taught them to take the profit of their own hard work, adding that it would increase employment and experience judo from house to house.
According to the Nepal Fishermen’s Association, discussions have been held to move vegetables from house to house in different parts of the country and in the market.
Sah said that the union has decided to continue such sales style and will reach Tugo soon after the farmers saw the profit of both the parties by moving their produce to the local market area without any middleman.
Earlier, fresh vegetables, which were sold only in the market, were bought by the middlemen and sold in the market by adding additional cost and profit.
