Systematic relief distribution in Parsagadhi Municipality Ward No. 9

Parsa: In Parsagadhi municipality of Parsa district, ward no. Relief has been distributed to the poor and extremely needy families affected by the Lakdaun-9. Based on the decision made by the all-party committee of the ward, as per the policy directive of the government, ward no. It is stated that relief has been provided to 181 people by identifying the poorest families in all the three villages.

Relief was distributed to the poor and extremely needy families of Bardewa, Telia and Ektanga villages in the ward today. 9 ward president Ram Narayan Prasad Gauro said. Each family has been provided a relief package of 20 kg of rice, 2 kg of lentils, 2 kg of salt, 1 liter of cooking oil, 4 pieces of bath and laundry soap.

The total population of the ward is around 3,000, out of which the all-party committee had selected 181 extremely poor families, said ward chairman Gauro. The Area Police Office, Ektanga, assisted in the relief distribution in a systematic manner by maintaining social distance.

Ward Chairperson Gaure said that Max, sanitizer and hand washing soap were distributed to each and every person of the ward at their own cost. Ward chairperson Gaure said that some of the Rs 300,000 allocated to the disaster fund has already been spent for the relief of the people.
