Nijgadh: Police have arrested Rambabu Rauniyar, manager of Ravi Cold Store in Nijgadh Municipality Ward No. 7, yesterday after he was found transporting alcohol in a truck carrying food during a lockdown.
Inspector Thapaliya of the Area Police Office Nijgadh informed that the district court has started investigation on Rauniyar within 10 days. A truck parked in front of the cold store has been subjected to indecent treatment by the police.
According to police, the liquor was brought to Nijgad from Balaji Food Industries in Rautahat by hiding it in a truck labeled as food transport.
