Ward Chairman Bharat Prasad Kurmi said that some of the 950 bags of rice were found to be of poor quality.

The Birgunj Municipal Corporation has also formed a monitoring committee comprising executive members Arabinda Gupta, Sushil Sah Kanu and Niranjan Sarraf to monitor the relief distribution. Monitoring committee member Arabinda Gupta says that the complaint came only from Ward No. 14.
