३८४ पाठक संख्या Kathmandu: The government has recommended to the President to convene the budget session of the parliament on April 10. A cabinet meeting held at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar on Sunday decided to recommend to the President to convene the convention at 4 p.m.
According to the constitution, President Vidyadevi Bhandari will convene a parliamentary session on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers. For the convention itself, arrangements have been made for accommodation within the parliament hall so that social distance is maintained. Only last Thursday, Prime Minister KP Oli, the Speaker, the Speaker of the National Assembly and others inspected the Parliament building.
According to the constitutional provision, the government has to bring a new budget on May 30. Before bringing the budget, policies and programs are to be presented in the parliament.
