Parsa: The government’s crackdown on corona virus infection has been violated in front of the Armed Police Force (APF) in Wiswa, a border market in Parsa.

After the death of 75-year-old Moharram Gaddi of Ward No. 5 of this village, his ‘janaza’ (funeral procession) was attended by more than 100 Muslim communities from Nepal and India on Monday. Despite the participation of hundreds of people in the process of transporting the bodies to the cemetery behind Vishwa Bazaar, the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force deployed at the Vishwa checkpoint did not take any initiative to stop or remind them. There, Ramita was watching as the lead speaker. The locals had called the district administration office and informed about the gathering after the police showed no interest in preventing it.

About 72 Muslim communities from India came to Nepal at the time of burial after the funeral procession, but the Armed Police Force (APF) guarding the border did not show any interest in stopping it. According to the locals, the incident took place under the direction of Superintendent of Armed Police Dipendra Kumar.

According to the locals of Viswa, the recent influx of Corona infected people in Parsa has led to the entry of Indian people into Nepal and the silence of the police has increased the infection of Corona in the district and made them insecure.

Locals have alleged that the locals did not pay attention to the gathering of 72 Indian Muslims who had entered Nepal for cremation through the Viswa Naka in the rural border of Parsa district.

Chief of the Armed Police Force No. 2, DIG Raju Aryal, said that no one including the district commander had informed about the incident. If it is proved that he understands this matter and has acted in such a manner, action will be taken
