Manharwa: A girl died on Tuesday after being bitten by a poisonous snake. The deceased has been identified as Ranjita Rana Magar, 12, daughter of Prince Rana Magar of Jitpur Simra Sub-Metropolis-16.
The girl, who is studying in class 4 of a local school, went to the field with her friends to look for maize stalks. At the same time, the snake bit the little finger of the girl’s right foot. The locals had taken the girl to the hospital on suspicion of being bitten by a snake after she suddenly fainted.
Ward Chairperson Kedar Bajagai informed that Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital Birgajan declared the girl dead after being bitten by a poisonous snake. He said that his body was brought home and a police report was issued.
After eating at around 10 in the morning, she left her daughter at home and went to work with her parents. On the same occasion, Chhopi went with her friends to look for maize. When did the snake bite? When did you find out? It was too late to reach the hospital, said Raj Kumar, father of the deceased girl.
