Jeetpur: The Jeetpur Simara Sub-Metropolitan Municipality of Bara is going to bring the office into operation from Sunday. The cabinet meeting on Wednesday decided to provide services through a maximum of one-fourth of the employees. Krishna Poudel informed.
Mayor Poudel said that the office is always open for internal work and is preparing to start the service from Sunday. He informed that it would take time for the office to be fully operational. He said that the ward secretaries of the municipality used to come to the office regularly even during the time of lockdown.
Nijgadh Municipality has also started work to help in the development work in accordance with the rules of the state, said Nijgadh Municipality Deputy Chief Lila to Khanal. He said that it has been decided to operate the cement hardware shops in the town till 4 pm immediately to take the development work forward. He informed that the municipality will take further decisions based on the monitoring and situation.
Similarly, Mayor Bharat Bhandari has informed that the Kolhabi Municipality of Bara has started the development work from April 10. He said that the ward chairperson has been doing development work as well as other much needed public works. He informed that the meeting to be held on Sunday would take up the issue as the office would be overcrowded if the office was re-operated.
However, the presence of service recipients will not happen yet. The government will tighten the lockdown so that people do not come out of the house except for urgent work even if the offices come into operation.
