Jitpur: Amritlal Shrestha, chairman of the Public Interest Consumers Committee, which falls under the Parsa National Park Intermediate Zone, has said that all people need to be involved in the conservation of forests and wildlife.

In an interview with AP Khabar on Saturday, he said that the entire country is in lockdown due to corona virus (Covid 19). In this case, the general public is at home, but some people are active in the forest and wildlife smuggling, so monitoring the movement of people around their homes from wherever they are can prevent forest smuggling, he said.

He also urged his colleagues involved in forest conservation to follow the state directives in the field of forest and wildlife conservation. He has also directed all the committees under the Public Interest Consumers Committee to increase the monitoring of their forest area by maintaining social distance.
